Advanced Couplings – Standard Clamps
Advanced Couplings clamps are designed and manufactured for use in the Food & Dairy, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries where standard tube/pipe couplings are required. Clamp components are produced from stainless steel using the lost wax process. The assembled components are then barrel polished to produce the high quality finish demanded throughout the industry. Quality and precision in manufacture combined with the unique patented design of our groove profile, produce a clamp with the best joint efficiency for this type of connection.
S Type Pharmaceutical Clamp

- Application: Light Duty
- Hinge Lay-Out: Single Interlocking Rivet

- The heavy duty clamp in the Advanced Couplings standard range.
- This clamp has a double bolt configuration, and is available in 304 stainless steel material as standard, with pressure ratings certified by Force Denmark.
- SSH Clamps up to 4″ are supplied with brass nuts as standard (as shown in the images on the left), aiding repeated assembling and disassembling operations by alleviating the usual thread damage of heavy duty clamps and are available with stainless steel nuts on request.
- Clamp sizes 4 1/2″ upwards are supplied with stainless steel nuts as standard.
- Expanded size range from ½” through to 12 5/8”.

Clamps ASME VIII Pressure Vessel
- Material: 316 / 1.4401
- Application: Pressure Vessel
- Hinge Lay-Out: Hinge Plate & Safety Bolt
- This clamp is designed to meet the exacting requirements of the ASME VIII pressure vessel design code division 1, as given in Appendix 24.
- With a double bolt configuration at one lug side plus hinge plate and bolt at the other, the requirements of offering a secondary restraint in the eventuality of primary bolt failure is satisfied.
- All ASME VIII Clamps are supplied with complete 316 stainless steel component material certification, as required by ASME VIII Pressure Vessel Design.
- Published pressure ratings were calculated using the theoretical equations and exacting requirements given in the Pressure Vessel Code, a copy of ACL’s working equations can be supplied upon request.
