The Lumistar Ex lights for vehicles satisfy the safety standards for Ex-Areas, that are gaseous Atmospheres in the Ex-Zone 1 and 2 and dust Areas in the Ex-Zone 21 and 22 while at the same time being cost-effective.
Lumistar Luminaire type USL 46 LED Ex
- Designed for industrial vehicles like forklifts, lift trucks, and tank trucks.
- Suitable for use in hazardous areas: Gas Zone 1 and 2, Dust Zone 21 and 22.
- Protection class of IP65/IP67 according to EN 60529/DIN VDE 0470 Part 1.
- Operates in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +50°C.
- Electrical specifications include 12 V DC/24 V DC voltage, max. 2 W nominal power.
- Features options for cable entry on the side, either right or left.
- Can be mounted with hinged bracket or three-point fixing.
- Certified according to 2014/34/EU directive, meets EN IEC 60079-0:2018, EN 60079-1:2014 for gas and dust.
- Luminaire body made of aluminum and borosilicate glass.

Components, design and materials:
– Body of luminaire: corrosion-resistant cast aluminium alloy, GK-Al Si 10 Mg

– USL 45 A-Ex: Screw-on glass lens with calotte: Unit consisting of aluminium ring with polycarbonate (Makrolon) calotte.
