SIGHT FLOW INDICATORS
The sight flow indicators serve multiple industry applications in fluid monitoring. These devices offer valuable insights into the fluid movements within piping systems and ensure the assurance of operational efficiency. They come with two distinct types, the view-through flow indicators and the 360° or full view flow indicators. To assist with assisting flow direction, these indicators are equipped with diverse indications like rotary, flapper, flutter, ball, or drip.
CMC Technologies provides the liquid monitoring tools that are required for ensuring smooth and visible fluid flow monitoring.

LJ Star Sterile Visual Flow Indicator (SVFI)
- In-line sight glass suitable for food, chemical, and pharmaceutical use
- Borosilicate glass element is precision sized to give a hygienic CIP cleanable product
- Four observation windows resulting in maximum visibility without compromising design pressures & temperatures.
- Fully certified and conforms to EC directives, with o-ring seals fully certified FDA food grade and USP Class VI quality.
- The metal body is permanently part marked with material heat number, size, surface finish and the CE mark – other markings can be supplied as requested.
- Standard unit is ASME-BPE SFF6 in the internal bore, however higher finishes can be supplied, as well as more exotic grades of materials.

LJ Star Standard Visual Flow Indicators
Available in five styles to suit various mounting positions, fluid characteristics, flow rates and directions.
- Plain Style: Can be installed in any position to observe fluid flow in any direction.
- Drip Tube Style: This style is well suited for vertical lines with a downward flow direction.
- Flapper Style: Suited for monitoring either horizontal or vertical lines with upward flow.
- Rotator Style: Can be installed in any position to indicate flow in any direction.
- Gaseous Style: For monitoring horizontal or vertical upward low velocity fluid streams.
LJ Star Standard Flanged Visual Flow Indicator
- Full ANSI rated for 150# or 300# service (except the 8″ 150# unit which is nominal ANSI rated)
- Sizes range from 1/2″ to 8″
- Materials: 316 Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel as standards. Monel®, Hastelloy®, Alloy 20 as options.
- Gaskets: Neoprene, Gylon® as standards. Buna N, Viton®, PTFE, silicone, graphite, and non-asbestos gaskets as options.
- Window materials: Borosilicate as standard. Metaglas® Prestressed Safety Glass, Quartz as options.

Lumiglas Tubular Sight Glass/Flow Indicator
- Flanged at both ends to DIN 2642, ideal for observing fluid flow in pipelines
- Operating pressure up to 6 bar, and temperature up to 220°C
- Component materials include stainless steel, borosilicate glass, silicon rubber
- Installation: bolted directly between mating pipeline flanges
- Offers special versions with stainless steel shell, ANSI flanges, customized length
- Comes with optional splinter protection
