Purpose

The IV8 Flameless Explosion Vent provides explosion protection for process vessels located inside buildings or areas where standard explosion venting cannot be safely used. During an explosion event, the vent opens to relieve pressure while the integrated flame arrester cools and quenches the flame, preventing flame ejection into the surrounding area.

Applications

Suitable for indoor process vessels, dust-hazard environments, and installations where flameless explosion protection is required. Ideal for facilities where external venting is not possible or personnel safety requires flame-free pressure relief.
