SDF-Sensors: Averaging Pitot Tubes For Gases And Liquids
SKI SDF Sensors employ averaging pitot tube technology to measure gas or liquid flow rates.
Averaging pitot tubes for gases and liquids
The SDF sensor’s reliability and accuracy have been known for over 35 years. The SDF-Sensors offer a variety of advantages including bidirectional flow measurement, integration of temperature and pressure measurement, and easy insertion/retraction with the FASTLOK, a quick coupling system.
When it comes to a cost-effective solution that is easy to install, the SDF Pitot Tube sensors are the ideal choice. The sensors also work wonders in fitting a flowmeter to a preexisting pipeline with relative ease, which works well in spaces with little room and no long run of straight pipe. These devices are great for measuring process gases with dust, fibres, corrosive elements, or water-saturated conditions. These sensors are ideal when a pipeline can’t be stopped or shut down for installation. They are also great in applications where low pressure losses are required for economical or technical reasons.
