Averaging Pitot Tubes for Steam and Steam Flow Measurement
SKI SDF-Steam Sensors are commonly used to measure the flow or heat quantity of superheated or saturated steam
SDF Sensors For Steam
For over 35 years, SDF Steam Sensors have proven to be reliable, stable, and accurate in the field.
SDF Sensors can be used in difficult conditions due to their robust technology and simple measurement principle, and they offer significant advantages over other measuring technologies, such as ease of installation and long-term measuring stability.
Additional benefits include bidirectional flow measurement and the integration of temperature and pressure measurements to calculate the current operating density. This is aided by the AccuMind® flow computer, which can calculate the current steam and heat quantities.
The FASTLOK steam version of this product line allows for insertion or retraction of the SDF-sensor without an interruption of plant operation, offers four versions of the sensor, including a high-pressure option up to PN 100, and can be equipped with an integral gear drive for easier handling.
