KITO | In-Line Deflagration Flame Arresters

Deflagration flame arresters, such as the KITO® in-line model, are used to prevent event chain reactions on the pipeline with an explosive gas-air mixture. They prevent the spread of the deflagration to the connected equipment. Inline deflagration flame arresters are used in short pipe lengths, in contrast to detonation flame arresters and they are made according to ISO 16852 standards based on the pressure, the temperature, and the explosion group. To detect the fire on KITO® deflagration flame arresters, thermocouples can be fitted, which are used in addition to safety on applications like flare lines.
