Extinguishing Devices – SP1D-R
- Automatic extinguishing devices are used for fast, reliable extinguishing of sparks detected in mechanical and pneumatic conveyor systems.
- There are various versions of the automatic extinguisher, differing in the number of extinguishing valves and nozzles used.
- The following extinguishing devices are available, depending on the diameter of the suction pipe or shaft: · SP1D-R for up to 400mm pipe diameter and SP2D-R for up to 800mm pipe diameter.

Extinguishing Devices- SP2D-R
- Every millisecond counts. T and B Electronic water extinguishing nozzles are closed during normal operation.
- This prevents product and dust buildup on the nozzle opening which could affect the reaction time, say with nozzles that are fully open during normal operation.
- In this way, we can also provide solutions with lower water pressures than other manufacturers.
- The following extinguishing devices are available, depending on the diameter of the suction pipe or shaft: SP1D-R + SP2D-R for up to 1200mm pipe diameter and SP2D-R + SP2D-R for up to 1600mm pipe diameter

Pressure Booster System WDS
- A pressure booster system WDS is required in all cases where a flow pressure of extinguishing water of Pmin =7 bar to the extinguishing system cannot be guaranteed.
- The WDS system consists principally of multi-stage vertical centrifugal pump and a membrane pressure vessel (admission pressure 7 bar).
- Extinguishing water used is automatically replaced after each extinguishing procedure.
- The VB supply container is only required if a supply of at least 240 litres/minute cannot be guaranteed for the centrifugal pump.
- The supply container also serves to provide a biological separation between town water supply and extinguishing water.

Flow Switch DFW

- In conjunction with the standard fitted extinguishing water control at the spark alarm unit, the flow switch monitors the extinguishing devices and their operation.
- By installing the flow switch, the following conditions are reported from the spark alarm unit:
- Light bar:1 = Water supply fault2 = Alarm on, no water3 = Water on, no alarm4 = Water on, no production
Water Tank VB1/VB2/WD Round
- Water tanks are used, if a water flow of 180 l/min at 2 bar cannot be ensured by the available water supply.
- Additionally by the pressure-free inlet a biological separation between city water and extinguishing water is achieved, i.e. it cannot flow back possibly contaminated water into the potable water supply system.

- The water tank is designed to provide the required pump flow rate.
- It has a flat bottom and is free‑standing.
- The tank is a closed type and includes a Ø400 mm inspection opening with a plug‑in cover located on the roof.
- It is made from PE100 welded sheets and is suitable for non‑pressurised operation.

Waterpipe Heating

- Self-regulating heating band HB1: If extinguishing pipes are laid in areas prone to frost, they must be protected against freezing. By means of the self-regulating heating band, the extinguishing system is warmed up electrically.
- Connection set AG1: The connection set (shrink-on sleeve), together with the relevant connection box, is used for connecting the self-regulating heating band to the normal installation cable.
Outdoor Thermostat TH1
- The outdoor thermostat is used to switch the individual sections of the heating band on and off if the outside temperature falls too far (t = < 5° C).

Heating Band Monitor HBW3

- The heating band monitor controls the separate heated extinguishing water circuits.
- The heating band monitor monitors the separate heated extinguishing water circuits.
Solenoid Valve Flush
- This solenoid valve is designed for flushing the water supply line connected to a water tank or a backflow preventer.
- It supports regular flushing as well to remove deposited particles in the process for maintenance.
- The valve operates automatically by electrical control and is suitable for installation in potable water systems.
- It complies with the requirements of DIN 1988‑600 for flushing in water supply installations.
